Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION The Group Accountant: HFM and Sage Support will be responsible for
preparing the group monthly performance report
preparing consolidation journal entries in HFM
preparing complex consolidations
preparing annual financial statements
assisting in preparing board packs
assisting with audit queries, research of new IFRS and preparing VAT computations
EDUCATION The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
At least 3-4 years’ post article experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of HFM is non-negotiable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience preparing annual financial statements
Working knowledge of performing complex consolidations is non-negotiable
Experience in the telecommunications/ICT industries is preferred
Working knowledge of VAT and tax
Experience dealing with consolidations in foreign currencies
FOREX experience
