We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic team-player to join our growing operation in Johannesburg.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative, creative, self-starter with a passion for digital marketing.
Recent experience in PPC marketing, utilising the latest analytics and bid management tools to drive return on investment is essential. Ideally, the candidate needs to be comfortable working with Excel and have a passion for numbers – and how to get them to grow in the right direction. We are about results, and applicants with a passion for (and proven experience in) driving CPCs down and conversions up will be at an advantage.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Day-to-day management of multiple PPC accounts towards delivering a positive ROI based on specific client objectives (including set up, tracking, optimisation and reporting on campaigns).
Keyword research and generation for search strategies.
Development of ad copy and creative for campaigns.
Integration of PPC accounts with relevant analytics/bid management software.
Working closely alongside account teams towards achieving client objectives.
Attending client meetings and developing good working relationships with clients and digital contacts.
Essential attributes include but not limited to:
At least two years’ of recent paid search marketing experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Logical and strategic thinker.
Understanding of Google Analytics, and PPC management interfaces.
Good team player with leadership abilities.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
Good client management skills with the willingness and the confidence to work with senior clients.
The ability to work to deadlines.
Interest and keen undertaking to understand the client’s marketplace and business.
An understanding of the online/offline marketing mix and how these channels work together.
Attributes which would be advantageous:
Google AdWords qualified.
Proven experience within a paid search marketing role.
Knowledge of and an interest in the latest digital marketing trends.
