Job Title: Assistant Accountant – Uploads
Location: Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya

Salary: Ksh 30,000.00 – 35,000.00 Monthly
a)Ensure all receipts and any relevant fees are booked to clients’ accounts as and when they are received.
b)Ensure that all cheques that are due for banking have been banked and those to be rescheduled are withdrawn to avoid erroneous banking
c)Update repayments on the core banking system from payments received via Mpesa pay-bills
d)Apply bounced cheque fees to client accounts as received for both logbook and personal loan products
e)Make entries on repayments for cleared cheques as received for both logbook, civil servants, SME & personal loan products.
f)Make entries on repayments for cleared direct debits (DDs) and apply bounced DD’s fees to client accounts.
g)Prepare DDs for presentation for banking to Citi bank.
h)Respond to requests/general inquiries from various branches regarding client’s account status and repayments.
i)Respond to client queries on refunds due for payment
j)Post unallocated receipts and match with the respective client details, cash and cheques deposits received form all company’s collections accounts
k)Handle all any other duties as will be assigned from time to time.
l)Liaise with reconciliation team to resolve any queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
.Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting / Finance
.At the least CPA Part 3
.Minimum 3 – 12 months’ relatable work experience and/or in Financial/Credit Institution.
.Good Communication skills with an outgoing personality
.Personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
.Fast to understand concepts with keen attention to detail and willingness to learn
.Ability to multi-task and get things done to completion
.Excellent planning and organizational skills
.Problem solving and analytical skills.
