Vacancy Details

My client, well established kitchen design and renovations company based in Kramerville Sandton, is looking for an additional member for their team – an interior designer/architect.

 

Duties for this exciting positions include:

• • Interpretation of the site measurements and notes.
  • Designing a well thought-out kitchen that is functional and in-line with client’s personal aesthetics.
  • Compilation of quotations and cut-lists for orders, presentation layouts, finishing and fixture schedules relating to the project and place orders.
  • Creation of brochures, pamphlets, updating website and online social media posts for marketing purposes.
  • Administrative duties (Data capturing, creating mailers, setting up spreadsheets, filing etc..)
  • Project managing sites and in the future ‘Client visits’ for quoting purposes.
  • Assisting walk-in clients / client presentations in the showroom.

 

Required Skills

• Kitchen Design: 1 to 2 years

 

Candidate Requirements

• This is a junior role with loads of opportunities for growth in a great up market environment.
• The ideal candidate must have a qualification in Interior Design (Degree or National diploma) and sales/design experience would be preferable.
• Working hours include Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 3pm.  This is not negotiable.
• She must also be well spoken and well presented.  This is a permanent position.
• Salary is R13 500pm, benefits include medical aid.
• Candidate may be required to travel to clients from time to time, so own transport is preferable.
