Main purpose of the position:
To act as a liaison between the customer, field sales, customer service, production and dispatch teams resolving problems or concerns related to receiving orders, storing, and dispatch of materials
Key responsibilities:
- Receive sales orders from customers, confirm payment status and log in for production.
- Keep customers informed on status of their orders and availability of kanbans material
- Liaise with production team on production timelines to achieve OTIF
- Prepare loading slips; ensure all documentation is in order for loading, invoicing until the vehicle is out of the premises
- Receive customer feedback and complaints, liaise with concerned departments and follow up to ensure closure
- Clean the system of obsolete orders.
- Participate in monthly and annual stock taking exercise
- Maintain updated and authorized discounts for all customers
