Our client who specializes in renewable energy solutions for commercial, industrial and utility clients is looking for an Installation Foreman who will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing solar energy systems in residential and commercial properties, Menlyn, Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 – 5 Years’ experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• PV Experience – Advantageous
• Perfectionism
• Excellent communication skills
• Time management skills
• Must be a Team Leader

 

DUTIES:

• Leading the installation of Solar PV projects according to the provided design, following and enforcing applicable HR codes and company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.
• Completing post-project documentation including DC quality checklists, in-progress and final photos and labelling.
• Ensure that there is adequate materials and equipment to safely and efficiently complete projects.
• Documenting installation progress such as, wire management, serial numbers and site map.
• Filing daily progress reports and make them available online for the Project Manager including expense reports and living out allowance report.
• Maintaining and inspecting test equipment including periodic calibration checks.
• Responsible for all equipment issued from the company.
• Checking on progress of installers regularly throughout the installation to ensure the installation process is being performed as per engineering pack and construction timelines.
• Follow construction job flow procedures
• Timekeeping: Record accurate worked hours and stand down and communicate to the HR manager.
• Ensure accuracy of your own as well as your teams’ time sheets.

 

HOURS:

• Monday to Thursday 8AM – 5PM
• Friday 8AM – 1PM
