Vacancy Details

The Engineering Test Technician is responsible for testing prototypes used in engineering. This includes tasks like gathering and processing data for the actual units that will be produced. They also handle putting different systems together, dealing with both high and low voltages, structural parts, and the software that runs everything. Alongside all this, they need to carefully document what happens during tests and inspections and communicate any technical questions or findings in a clear and detailed way

 

• Develop and manage test programs for high-voltage units on the testing bench
• Follow company rules when testing high-voltage systems
• Use instruments to test new engineering models and handle data
• Keep our lab safe and organized
• Work with engineering and production teams to fix mechanical and electrical problems
• Document tests and inspections carefully
• Clearly communicate technical questions and findings
• Wire replaceable components and help with system assembly
• Assist in finding and fixing faults
• Offer general engineering support when needed
• Train and oversee apprentice technicians
• Install, fix, test, and start up electrical equipment
• Test products on the production line, specifically the High Voltage range
• Create documents for test procedures and results
  Carry out on-site setup and repairs for mentioned products
• Help develop and test new products, which might involve working with
• small electronic parts using tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes

 

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 Years of experience
• Work on live high voltage (up to 1000V) systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with standard electronics lab tools including AC/DC meters, data acquisition, AC/DC power supplies
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude – Practice disassembly and reassembly of electromechanical systems without instructions

 

Qualification:

• Electrical Trade / Wireman’s license or
• BTech / MTech Electrical Engineering
