Specification

We are excited to welcome applications for a role within our Finance Department which requires passion, commitment, innovative thinking and leading-edge ability.

Your talent and positive mental attitude mean you are able to deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Minimum of B.Com or equivalent qualification
  • At least three years of relevant finance experience
  • Knowledge of ACCPAC and IDU will be beneficial
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and excellent computer proficiency
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
  • Clear use of initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Sound work ethic

Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender’s clearance certificate before employment can commence

Requirements
Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and/or review of monthly journals
  • Review of payment batches
  • Accurate data capturing and preparation of reconciliations
  • Review of monthly reconciliations
  • Assist with fixed asset register maintenance and control
  • Assist with managing month end
  • Assist with annual budgeting process
  • Prepare reports for annual audit
  • Perform general accounting duties as requested
  • Management of two staff members
  • Provide feedback and regular reports to stakeholders
  • Interaction with a wide range of stakeholders
