Stefanutti Stocks Inland Business Unit is currently looking for a Jnr Safety Officer, to develop, implement and maintain the SHEQ management system to effectively manage the total SHEQ program. Create an environment in which employees behave responsibly towards SHEQ that forms part of the work environment in the West Rand and surrounding areas.

Job Summary:
Implement, manage and maintain the Site SHEQ systems and related documents.
Investigate, analyze all accidents and incidents and compile comprehensive reports.
Compile inspection reports and implement the required actions.
Conduct internal audits on site and compile comprehensive reports.
Conduct SHEQ related training.

Requirements:
SAMTRAC/ Comsoc or equivalent.
HIRA Risk Assessment process, Legal Liability, ISO 9001 & 14001 and OHSAS working knowledge.
Good Incident and accident investigation skills.
Facilitator / Assessor skills an advantage.
Very high attention to detail, administration skills. MS Computer literacy and be able to work independently.
Understanding of SHEQ management system applicable to the mining, process and civil industry.
Good working knowledge of national legislation and Best Operating Practices and its application to our business environment.
3-5 Years in a similar position within the Tailings industry, with experience in Hydro mining, daywall and cyclone deposition a strong advantage.
