Vacancy Details

We are looking for an Engineering Storeman in the Nasrec area in Johannesburg to ensure that the stock is managed correctly so the Engineering Warehouse can operate efficiently and effectively.

 

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics
• 3 years Storeroom Management
• 3 years Stock Counts & Accuracy
• Advantage: Stock Related Qualification
• FMCG, Manufacturing sector, Engineering Warehouse experience essential.
• Computer proficiency; packages required: MS Word, Excel, SAGE

 

Responsibilities:

• Preparing the warehouse for stock taking.
• High level stock control and stock management, ensuring no stock outs and / or no overstocking.
• Assist with stock counts and returns to suppliers.
• Properly conducting / executing monthly stock takes, ensuring no adverse variances.
• Issuing and receipting stock daily.
• Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company.

 

KPI’s:

• • Stock accuracy in daily and monthly counts
