Job Title: Office Administrator
Job Location: Inkululeko Community Center, Pretoria
Salary: R5000 per month
Start date: As soon as possible
This is a fixed-term position
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for school fees revenue
- Keep individual statements up to date
- Send statements to defaulters
- Inform office administrator and Coordinator of state of school fees income
- Deposit income received by office at Finance Manager
- Maintain receipt and deposit records
- Be responsible for all Day Care Centre expenditure
- Be responsible for petty cash
- Receive grocery invoices and receipts
- Maintain records of all expenditure – compare with budget
- Check own records with financial statements of Finance Manager
- Maintain records of personal telephone calls and ensure personal bills are paid
- Discuss all finances with office administrator and coordinator
Filing
- Be stand in for teacher / cook / cleaner when and if necessary
- Stock taking and buying of groceries
- Taking out food for kitchen staff and keeping records
- Draft the menu
- Ensure community members that are using parking space they pay on time
- Manage community members that hire the facility and making sure I open and close the place (mostly on Saturdays and public holidays)
Requirements:
- Grade 12, any related qualification, experience with facilitation skills will be an added advantage
- Ability to express yourself fluently in English and knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage
- Computer literate experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet, etc)
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
