Our company is currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced IT Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team.

 

 

 

 

Job Title: IT Procurement Assistant
Location: Johannesburg

Job Summary:
The main purpose of the IT Procurement Assistant is to ensure optimum procuring of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) equipment in a timeous and consistent manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

Managing expectations and working in a transparent environment to always deliver what on agreed outcomes within agreed time frames.
Schedule Purchases and deliveries.
Daily deliveries.
Manage Inventory.
Review and place purchase orders.
Any other reasonable duties as directed by Management.
Assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth-running of procurement.
Provide administrative assistance to the Procurement team.
Skills and competencies:

ICT skills/capabilities in the Procurement field
Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and procedures.
Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines.
Electrical background and knowledge will be an advantage.
Good organizational skills.
Basic mathematical knowledge.
Strong Administrative skills.
Desired Experience & Qualification
ICT environment exposure/experience

3-5 years in a similar position.
MS Office proficiency.
Good command of the English Language.
Grade 12 (Matric).
Valid driver’s license.
