Remuneration: A stipend of R3200 per month

Duration of contract: 12 months Karl Bremer Hospital, within the Western Cape Department of Health, is looking for Homebased Carers, who are enthusiastic and seeking to contribute to improving the overall quality of healthcare.

Ward Assistant requirements:

• General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std. 7)

• 2 years’ experience working as a Carer in a healthcare setting •

Home-based Care NQF Level 1 & 2 certificates.

Duties:

• Escorting of patients

• Acting as queue marshals

• Ward assistance

• Cleaning of equipment.
