We are looking for a qualified IT manager to oversee the IT Department. The role will focus on maintaining and improving the IT service delivery, Managing IT Risks, Implementing projects and maintaining the Network and Systems used.

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing all members of the IT department and implementing the required processes and procedures, to ensure that all incidents are addressed in a timely fashion and in line with business expectations and priorities
Managing all 3rd party contractors and service providers, ensuring that the highest levels of service and quality is received and maintained
Providing regular feedback to the business on the status of incidents and expediting the resolution of those requiring immediate priority
Assuring that all IT activities are performed within the bounds of any and all applicable laws, regulations and business rules
Evaluating technology risks in order to refine the disaster recovery plan, as well as all backup procedures and policies
Preforming regular reviews of the network, in order to ensure maximum up-time and identifying opportunities for improvement and rationalisation
Regularly reviewing network security and identifying risks and plans for improvement across the technology landscape
Ensuring that all technology assets are appropriately tracked, monitoring and maintained within an asset register
Working closely with the Chief Information Officer, in order to plan and prioritise the roll-out of projects, based on defined business goals
Managing the implementation and roll-out of projects, including the utilisation and performance of IT dependant resources
Managing the IT budget, in order to ensure that all operational IT costs, expenses and investments are appropriately managed

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-site Head of IT Support/IT Management role
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems and telephony
Firm understanding of IT infrastructure and IT operational best practices
Skills
