Vacancy Details

• No prior commercial industry or post-article experience required! This global trading organisation with provide you with exposure to the capital markets industry, which for anyone who has worked with financial service clients will know is an extremely exciting and massively growing niche.
• Obtaining information from internal and external systems for preparation of month end reconciliations.
• Preparing, reviewing, signing off, and sending complex monthly complex.
• Excel reporting pack.
• Daily and Weekly reporting of Gross Profit.
• Daily local and international bank approvals.
• Reviewing the ongoing customer, supplier, and cashbook processing.
• Liaising with suppliers, banks, and other companies within the group.
• Tax calculations and reporting on e-filing: monthly VAT reporting, provisional, income tax.
• Administrating various banks and their users, overseeing bank approval and payment process.
• Ensuring smooth annual audits of South African entities, as well as reviewing the accompanying financial statements.
• Providing assistance to the SA CFO.
• Other Ad hoc tasks relevant to the role.

 

Skills & Experience:

• Advanced Excel skills
• Good IFRS knowledge

 

Qualification:

• CA(SA) non-negotiable
