Vacancy Details

• A leading player in the marine mining industry, committed to pioneering sustainable and innovative solutions for extracting precious resources from the ocean floor is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team of engineers, where you would be responsible for performing engineering design and calculation generation.
• Developing and consolidating engineering and equipment specifications.
  Aiding in the design of plant layouts and coordinating drafting resources for the production of drawing deliverables.
• Contributing to the creation of Study and EPCM documentation.
  Assisting in calculations for cable sizing and overseeing cable and cable racking schedules.
• Producing, compiling, and maintaining updated lists of electrical equipment and instruments.
• Assessing and providing recommendations for the selection of vendor equipment.
• Reviewing vendor-certified documentation and supervising the distribution of vendor information to discipline engineers and drafting resources for interface checking.
• Supplying material quantity take-offs as required.
• Supporting the quality assurance process and expediting the procurement of equipment.
• Participating in on-site engineering, commissioning, and administration activities.
• Managing databases efficiently.

 

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Proficiency in AutoCad, DesSoft, EPLAN, ETAP, COMOS, Relux
• Attention to detail
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

 

Qualification:

• BSc/BEng/BTech in Electrical Engineering
