Digby Wells Environmental, a service provider to the resources industry, is looking for a HR Intern in our Randburg office. The HR Intern contributes to the organisational goals by providing HR and administrative support.
Job Objectives:
Accurately and timeously capture records onto the various technologies available (Maximiser, HR etc.)
Arrange interviews and ensure necessary documents, boardrooms, interviewers etc. are available.
Setting up and maintain HR filing systems
Co-ordinate the HR Probation and performance management process (setting up meeting, reminders, draft letters etc.)
Collating information for management reporting and statistical purposes·Facilitate the wellness programme to staff (Vaccinations, wellness days etc.)
Provide administrative support with regards to the BBBEE programme.
Co-ordinate the career fairs (diarise, complete forms, obtain volunteers etc.)
Provide administrative support to HR committees (Employment Equity, Health and Safety, CSR etc.)
Providing general HR support to business (staff and managers) when required.
Required Skills and Experience:
Excellent PC Skills
Applicable legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, etc.)
Strong academic record
Principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labour relations and negotiation, and HR Information systems
Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
Interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation
Excellent organisation and administration skills
Logical Thinker
Ability to multi-task
Strong time management skills
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in HR Management or equivalent.
