The Role: The Employee will be required to

  • Consolidate training cost reports monthly.
  • Provide a breakdown of dates and training data received from each dealership
  • Provide detailed reports in terms of Apprentices who are behind on their training as well as their apprenticeship training to be noted for management’s intervention.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 and HR Related Qualifications
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in training and development
  • Driver’s License

KEY DELIVERABLES AND OUTPUTS REQUIRED BY EMPLOYEE:

  • Upload of all (training loaded 1 month in arrears)
  • OEM training
  • Apprenticeship training
  • Leadership training
  • GAAB training
  • CPA training
  • POPI training
  • Health & Safety training
  • Learner Tracking Tool Update
  • Ad hoc training interventions are implemented from time to time

Reports

  • All loaded training of the previous month must be sent to the manager by the 18th of each month (Training Report of all the training)
  • Learner Tracking Tool – Must be monitored and updates need to be sent to FM’s and payroll for changes to job titles and increases for salary for Apprentice and Learners
  • Driver’s License report as to how many was uploaded – How many staff member need to renew license
  • MIE System
  • Ensure that all new financial managers are booked on training in the first month of their employment.  Certificate of attendance to be loaded onto their profile on SAGE once completed

RMA – Online system training

  • Ensure that all new financial managers are booked on training in the first month of their employment.  Certificate of attendance to be loaded onto their profile on SAGE once completed.

Apprenticeship Training

  • Receive training reports from Training Providers monthly, detailing Apprentices’ progression on the different levels.  Emails are to be sent to the relevant Service Managers and FM’s on the progress of the apprentice. This is to be managed monthly and escalated where necessary.
  • Load all invoices of the Training Providers onto SAGE.
  • Send Service Managers and FM’s the Competency reports of the apprentice moving to another level.
  • CC – Payroll in as this is a job title change as well as salary change.
  • Upload all new apprentice information on to the SAGE system in respect of LOA, Apprenticeship agreement with MERSETA, ID and proof of qualification.
  • Keep an absorption file detailing all Apprentices that have completed their qualifications. Ensure that were Apprentices are not absorbed sufficient proof is provided thereof, where apprentices are absorbed the necessary LOA is to accompany the absorption doc.  You will be required to liaise with the Service Providers and ensure that all formal red seal qualifications are received and uploaded onto SAGE
  • Update documents of all apprentice that has been terminated – (Disciplinary notes, Outcome of case, last day of work.
  • You will be required to schedule the training in the calendars of the Service Managers and ensure that Apprentices attend the training as scheduled.

Learners

  • Upload all new learner information on to the SAGE system in respect of LOA, Learnership agreement with the provider, Agreement with MERSETA where necessary, ID and proof of qualification.
  • Keep a record of payslips and distribute to dealerships and or external providers monthly.

OEM Training

  • Establish a relationship with the training representatives at the OEM’s.
  • Annually in October identify training interventions to be implemented by the OEM and adjust the training dictionary accordingly.  Update price increases on existing training interventions where required.
  • Request OEM training level completion per employee per franchise for starting database.  Monthly manage and monitor progression of training with records received.  Request updates from the OEM quarterly to ensure that employees are progressing as required in line with your database

Training Agreements

Upload all training agreements were required on to employee profiles on SAGE.  Keep a record of expiry dates and ensure that in the event of termination the recoveries are implemented accordingly

OSH Act Training

  • Keep a record of all qualifications and expiry dates for all Gauteng dealerships.
  • Load reminders on the SAGE system and your Outlook calendar in terms of expiry.  Notify Dealership FM and DP as to when the expiry date will be.
  • Assist in planning and booking group training to address where certificates are expired

Drivers Licenses

Update all validity periods for Drivers – Drivers licenses.  Where necessary, advise the dealership DP and FM where expiry is to be reached for their action.

IR Training

  • Assist in the scheduling of all managers on IR training when required.
  • Manage a list of new managers that have not attended the training.

Qualification

All employee’s qualifications, matric or last school reports to be uploaded onto SAGE against each person’s name.

Filing

  • Keep a good administrative filing system.
  • Checklist, quote, invoice, proof of payment, register or any confirmation of attendance of training.
  • Keep this up-to-date for audit purposes.

Scheduling Training

Assist with the scheduling and booking of training interventions where required.
