We are looking for a well qualified and well experienced Human Resources Manager located in Mozambique in the province of Nampula

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Nampula, Nampula, Mozambique

Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: MZN 80,000.00 – 100,000.00 Monthly

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Human Resource Policies and planning:
•Develop and implement the HR /TM and People strategies aligned to the business objectives.
•Update the company’s database with timely, relevant forms, policies, and procedures to always ensure accessibility for employees.

2. Recruitment and Selection:
•Manage all recruitment needs, including implementing and continually developing a robust recruitment process.
•Overseeing the day-to-day management of the recruitment process, including reviewing job descriptions, and vacancies publications, updating the company resource plan, sifting, and selecting CV’s, attending interviews, and candidates’ selection.
•Creating and continually improving offer letters and contracts of employment.
•Ensuring the collection of references and security clearance as relevant to each role.
•Ensuring all relevant ID, certificates, and employee documents are received on or before 1st day of employment.

3. Salary, Benefits, and Incentives:
•To manage approved rewards, incentives, and commissions, and ensure employees are notified of qualifying rewards incentives, and commissions in a timely and accurate manner.
•Ensuring employees’ salaries are paid on time and in the right manner.

4. Performance Management:
•Design, support and continually improve the company’s talent frameworks, tools, and resources for talent planning, performance management, and employee development.

5. Disciplinary & grievances proceedings (discipline, grievances):
•With guidance from the executive committee, the HR manager will facilitate as a mediator when required to try and resolve employee grievances and any disciplinary proceedings.

6. Talent management (training, development, and succession management):
•Implement HR initiatives that can be leveraged to strengthen business results specifically through leadership and development programmes.
•Identifying significant gaps to meet long-term objectives and creating a long-term workforce plan that prioritizes achievement of the company’s business strategic goals.
•Establish and maintain appropriate systems for identifying, planning, delivering, and measuring learning and development.
•Manage a training plan that details required training that is delivered within the agreed/specific timescales and ensure outcomes are appropriately measured and reported on.
•Liaise with the company’s middle management team to understand all necessary aspects of their teams learning and development needs.
•Ensure training activities meet and integrate with company strategies and policies.

7. Reporting:
•Responsible for the development of processes and reporting metrics that support the achievement of the company’s business goals.
•Monitor, measure, and report on HR issues, opportunities, and development plans and achievements (on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis).
•Keep up to date with HR legislation by researching and attending necessary events, before providing suitable interpretation to senior and middle management teams.
•Deliver and report on the annual employee engagement survey to ensure feedback from employees is collated and interpreted correctly to help improve employee engagement.
Requirements:

Minimum Requirements & Key Attributes:
•Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, Advanced education beyond a college degree is preferred, ideally in Human resource management, such as a master’s degree or MBA.
•A professional certificate such as a certified license in Human resource management is an added advantage.
•Proven track record as HR manager, preferably in a senior role.
•Experience in designing and delivering coaching/mentoring, learning and development and talent management programmes.
•Knowledge of employment and labor law.
•Experience in report writing and utilising Ms. Office.
•Experience in using HR Information Systems (performance evaluation software, Primavera etc.)
•Problem-solving skills.
•Recruitment and Selection experience.
•Experience of designing and writing HR policies, procedures, offers and contracts of employment.
•Knowledge of payroll and payroll procedures.
•More than five years of work experience in a Human resource management position.
