Vacancy Details

The company’s long term strategy is to develop young Instructors into Head Instructors and pollinate the industry with very well trained guides, but we would encourage guides to give back to conservation by giving experienced guides the opportunity to become highly skilled instructors.

• The vacancies are for our Karongwe, Selati, Pridelands, Botswana, Makuleke camp but also any other venue we might utilise for training. It depends on the calibre of instructor we get, where they will be stationed and if they want a roaming/relief role.
• Accommodation provided – Single Tented Accommodation

 

Required Skills

• Field Guides: 1 to 2 years

 

Candidate Requirements

1. Head Instructors should have a minimum of :

• NQF 4, VPDA, FGASA Level 3, Advanced Trails Guide and Current Advanced Rifle Handling (or very close to attain these)
• 5 years related industry experience
• Current NDT Registration
• Current PDP
• Current FGASA Membership

 

2. Assistant Instructors should have a minimum of:

• NQF 2, FGASA Level 1 preferably Level 2, FGASA Trails Guide and Current Advanced Rifle Handling
• Guiding and other related industry experience
• Current NDT Registration
• Current PDP (desirable)
• Current FGASA Membership
