The Executive Manager for Enterprise Risk will advise us on various types of risks (business, financial, legal and security.) The incumbent will identify potential threats and create plans to prevent and mitigate against such.

1.Oversee the development and implementation of Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
2.Develop and implement the Fraud Prevention Policy and Plan and support the organisation in its implementation.
3.Ensure that INSETA’s maturity level improves continuously and capacitate management and staff on matters of risk.
4.Ensure that a Combined Assurance Model Plan is developed and implemented across the organisation.
5.Ensure timeous communication of required inputs from internal stakeholders to review, update and manage strategic and operational risks.
6.Support the organisation in the implementation of risk management strategies.
7.Ensuring the requisite systems, procedures and capacity are in place for attainment of targets.
8.Ensure formulation and implementation of effective policies, related strategies and plans.
9.Ensure sound stakeholder relations and engagement internally for effective accountability of risk management to all the governance structures.
10.Ensure compliance to all regulatory and policy environment governing INSETA.
11.Ensure accurate, timeous and quality reporting to internal and external governance structures on risk management.
12.Ensure that the strategic risks are aligned to the business objectives, skills priorities and the mandate of INSETA.

Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications:
1. Honours Degree in Business, Finance or a related field.

2. Masters degree is an added advantage.

Experience:
Ten (10) years at senior management level preferably is a pubic sector.
1. Proven experience in risk management strategies, policies and plans.
2. Proven experience at a senior management level as far as
managing allocated budgets.
3. Experience getting the best of your team and building effective teams.
4. Proven experience in developing strategic planning
documents and translating them into operational plans and
reporting on progress implementation as and when
required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND CHARACTER TRAITS:
Knowledge:
1.Knowledge, understanding and practical application to aid with risk analysis functions.
2.Knowledge, understanding and practical application of risk assessment concepts and processes.
3.Knowledge, understanding and practical application of the nature of risk and the risk management process.
4.Knowledge, understanding and practical application of all risk’s insurance.
5.Knowledge, understanding and practical application of credit risk insurance.
6.Knowledge, understanding and practical application of insurable risk.
7.Knowledge, understanding and practical application of South African law and the regulation of risk management.
8.Knowledge, understanding and practical application of risk in a Financial Services environment.
9.Knowledge, understanding and practical application of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993 (OHSA) (as amended) and the responsibilities of management in terms of the Act.
