KZN Growth Fund is a private equity and private debt Fund based in Durban reporting to the KwaZulu Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA). The Fund seeks to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified Human Resources Manager.

Job Summary:
The ideal individual will be responsible for the development and execution of people initiatives that drive the company’s business results. The role assists in shaping the business strategy and acts as expert counsel to key customers on HR strategies, processes and systems. The role provides transactional and administrative support to ensure the implementation of HR related activities within the business. This role will support the CEO to ensure seamless and consistent delivery of HR service to all clients and stakeholders. The role will also fulfil administrative matters associated with the office of the CEO, including marketing and all stakeholder communication.

•Provide Human Resources strategic support and ensure HR strategy is adequately implemented.
•Ensure compliance with all the Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
•Ensure implementation and compliance with all Human Resources related operations processes .
•Implement Human Resources administration and HR&REMCO work plan.
•Providing administrative support to the office of the CEO.
•Provide support in the management of public relations, brand awareness and communication.
•Prepare submissions for CEO’s review for HR&REMCO.
Requirements
The following minimum requirements must be met in order to be considered for this position:
•Minimum requirement Bcom in Human Resources.
•Honours Degree in HR Management and other equivalent will be advantageous.
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the managing a Human Resources Function.
•Extensive experience in recruitment and selection, talent management, training, organizational development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and all major areas in HR field.
•Good understanding of Local labour/employment laws, and HR policies and process.
•Sound computer literacy (word, excel and power point.)
•Excellent Project Management and Communication (written and verbal) skills.
