We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team on Eskom Transmission Projects.

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: East London

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities
To provide an effective service to support the Project Manager in order to ensure that all capital projects are completed within time, cost and quality constraints while optimising all resources used.
Supports the Project Manager in Project Planning and capital programs.
Ensures the timeous supply of project material by monitoring the progress of orders, liaising with Eskom stores and/or Suppliers in respect of deliveries to site.
Co-ordinates all site personnel and Eskom’s Contractors’ functions on allocated projects to ensure project completion within time, cost and quality.
Arranges and co-ordinates all outages required for the commissioning of projects.

Project control on cost, time and quality
Project contract management
Project material management
SHEQ management
Project communication and reporting
Outage and commissioning management
Desired Experience & Qualification
National Diploma in an Engineering or Technical field.
3 years experience Management of projects and construction sites.

Experience in Transmission projects in the following categories:

Various refurbishment
Telecommunications
New Build
Expansion
IPP Integration Projects

Additional Requirements:

Site PPE
Laptop
Data Connectivity
Own Transport
Cellphone

Package & Remuneration:
R350.00 – R480.00 per hour Gross Salary Rate (including BCEA provisions)
