South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SANCA) is a non-governmental organisation whose major objectives are the prevention and treatment of Alcohol and Drug Dependence. The first of these objectives is mainly achieved through the provision of treatment services for chemically dependent people and their families (Chemical dependence is an umbrella term used to describe both alcoholism and drug dependence)

Job Title: National Coordinator for SANCA National Office
Job Location: Lyndhurst, Johannesburg.
Salary: Package will be negotiated

Requirements:

• A four year (BA) Social Work Degree
• Minimum of ten years proven experience
• Registered with the SA Council for Social Service Professions
• Valid code 08 driver’s license (essential)
• Must be willing to travel
• Computer literate on Microsoft Office
• Experience in the field of substance use disorders is a requirement
• Bilingual communication skills
• Interpersonal, networking and marketing skills
• Project management skills
• Programme development, monitoring and evaluation skills
• Competent in staff training and supervision
• Strong administration skills
• Experience in financial management and fundraising
• Experience in human resource management
• Proven experience and knowledge in the NPO sector
