Job Specification

The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:

• Perform general civil and structural analysis and design under guidance of senior engineers.
• Liaise with the drawing office to assist with layout options from which the appropriate civil and structural calculations will be done, overseen by a senior civil and structural engineer.
• Assist with draughting and 3D modelling.
• Perform library maintenance by expanding the already existing standard calculations, with guidance.
• Assist with site inspections.
• Participate in reviewing of civil and structural designs and layouts.
• Keep records of work as required for the department and/or project.
• Adhere to engineering standards.
• Modernise the design process by making use of the latest design software capability.
• Interfacing with and contribute to other departments on behalf of engineering.

Education and Experience

B.Eng (Civil) or B.Sc in Civil Engineering Degree
