Vacancy Details

An opportunity to support the Business Development team by offering administrative support and creative input. Our client is a UK property company with a Business Development team based in Cape Town. The team requires assistance to improve brand visibility and the Marketing Assisting will make a positive contribution by phoning new clients and explaining their business expertise, whilst assisting with sales and marketing functions.Working Hours: 09:00 to 18:00 Monday – Friday.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric, relevant Marketing qualification advantageous
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role required
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams
  • Professional telephonic skills for communicating with affluent clients
  • Effective time management
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
  • Positive “can do” attitude
  • Results driven – striving to make a difference, and enjoying the challenge when working under pressure to achieve the objectives
  • An individual who is eager to learn about the UK Property Legislation
  • Working collaboratively with the team

 

DUTIES

  • Assist the Business Development Team with their day-to-day activities.
  • Assist with cold calling
  • Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
  • Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing, and campaigns
  • Support the marketing team in delivering agreed activities
  • Work closely with the Business Development Team and in-house departments to collect information, and design marketing materials such as brochures, and tenders on Canva
  • Proofread marketing material
  • Produce creative content, including posts/stories/news updates, and assist in running social media channels (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement
  • Assist the marketing team in sourcing and securing new leads, and contact existing leads
  • Liaise with property developers and freeholders/leaseholders and organise meetings
  • Create, update, and maintain customer databases and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management.
  • Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires, and monitor competitors’ activity
  • Assist with managing online reviews
