Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Trade Marketer Specialist to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.

 

Job Description: 

• Develop and execute a Trade Marketing plan in line with sales and marketing objectives.
• Identify and leverage opportunities for brand visibility through in-store campaigns, point-of-sale materials, incentives, competitions and activations in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
• Oversee the production and distribution of all in-store and point of sale elements. Responsible for timelines and execution for all retailer needs for display production/build-outs /merchandising solutions, from brief to delivery.
• Support the sales team by implementing channel-specific marketing activities for assigned retailers.
• Managing in-store placement of coolers, including ordering, tracking and repairs.
• Lead activation and sampling programs to improve brand visibility and product uptake.
• Visit the in-trade points of sale regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected, while also keeping abreast of industry standards and opportunities.
• Procurement and management of competition prizes and customer gifting.
• Compile monthly reports of Trade Marketing activities.

 

Job Requirements: 

• Marketing qualification or similar
• 5 years’ experience in a trade marketing role
• Strong organisation, communication & interpersonal skills
• Positive, high energy individual who loves working in a team
• Ability to execute and make things happen
