Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location: Centurion

To provide proactive & reactive support to SLA customers via phone, email or on-site visit(s). The position further entails performing ad hoc and project work as instructed by the Team Leader or Operations Manager.

Qualification Requirements:
A minimum of the following certifications or equivalent proven experience is required:
National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
CompTIA A+
CompTIA N+

Knowledge & Experience:
3 years’ experience in the relevant position within the IT sector
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Own Transport and Valid Driver’s License
Friendly, confident and professional telephone manner.
Eager to learn new skills and invest in personal development.
Attention to detail with well-developed problem-solving skills.
Time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
Computer literate
Relevant 1st Level / Service Desk support experience.
Experience in rolling out team-based ICT projects.
knowledge and experience in troubleshooting & diagnosing Windows based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7/8/10/11 etc.
knowledge and experience in troubleshooting & diagnosing Apple based operating systems issues with emphasis on MacOS and IOS etc
Advance knowledge and experience troubleshooting and diagnosing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) issues.
Advance knowledge and experience troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, and delegation.)
Basic knowledge and experience troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows server 2012 / 2016 / 2019 etc. roles and features with specific focus on:
DHCP
DNS

Basic knowledge and experience with disaster recovery solutions like Redstor.
Basic knowledge and experience with enterprise antivirus solutions like ESET Protect Cloud.
Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 with specific focus on:
Azure Active Directory
Exchange Online
SharePoint
Teams
Endpoint Manager

Advance understanding and experience with desktop and laptop hardware.
Basic knowledge and experience with LAN and WAN networks with specific focus on:
PPPOE
Subnetting
TCP & UDP Ports
VLANs

Package & Remuneration:
Monthly Remuneration: 10 – 20k per month (Depends on experience)

Business travel: Will be remunerated at the approved company allowance.
