Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this pivotal role, you should bring:
- A minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in a design office environment, within the mining sector.
- Proficiency in harnessing AutoCAD 2D & 3D design software, including but not limited to Revit, Advance Steel, Inventor, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous involvement in projects involving processing plants
Responsibilities: As a Draughtsman / Designer, your role will be instrumental, encompassing:
- Mastery of CAD software to facilitate engineers and project managers in shaping concepts, final models, plant layouts, detail drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Adept drafting across various domains such as Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation projects.
- Precision in preparing dimensional and installation drawings, coupled with the ability to tackle intricate designs.
- Skillful adaptation of drawings and designs in response to the valuable insights of engineers and project managers.
- Vigilance in revising and modernizing existing drawings to mirror design changes with precision.
- Seamless collaboration with our design dream team, with an unwavering commitment to upholding the highest design standards.
- Ensuring the harmonization of final drawings with approved designs.
- Rigorous verification of fabricated steel to ensure congruence with drawings via stringent QC inspections.
- The pivotal contribution to assembling initial project timelines.
- Essential involvement in project costing through the creation of preliminary bills of materials.
- Utmost dedication to ensuring compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and pertinent client safety protocols throughout all projects.
