My client stands at the forefront as a premier supplier of paper products in South Africa, serving prominent cleaning companies, esteemed chain stores, and trusted wholesalers. With a specialization in top-tier toilet tissue, they provide choices in both virgin pulp and recycled options, guaranteeing hygiene and addressing varied client requirements with a commitment to professionalism and competitive excellence.

You will be responsible for overseeing design, construction, and maintenance, ensuring safety compliance and engineering standards. Manage fault finding, budgets, a clean work environment, contractor compliance, negotiations, and contribute to improvement. Provide detailed monthly reports, implement corrective actions, and plan for optimal equipment functionality.

Job experience and Skills Required:

• B Eng/BSc Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years in maintenance and projects in an FMCG manufacturing plant environment.
• Proficient in reading and creating mechanical, electrical, and PID drawings.
• Proficient in Vision, and AutoCAD, and capable of developing drawings and specifications for equipment repairs.
