CAST is a Christian community development organisation focusing on partnership with, and mobilisation of, local churches for the purposes of community transformation.

Job Title: Grant Writer or Fundraiser
Job Location: Durban
Start date: Immediately

This is a one-year contract which may be renewed or become permanent subject to the performance and needs of the organisation at the time.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the sourcing of potential funding organisations (companies, trusts, foundations etc.)
• Write proposals and corresponding funding reports
• Promote the organisation
• visit and liaise with donors and potential donors

Requirements:

• Ability to show evidence of a history of successful fundraising
• Knowledge of BBBEE codes, and examples of previous proposals and reports
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a necessity
• Strong administrative skills
