Innovation: Africa is a nonprofit 501 organisation that brings Israeli solar, water and agricultural innovations to rural African villages. It has provided one million people across Africa with access to vaccines, light and clean water.

Job Title: Regional Director
Job Location: Limpopo
Reports to: Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Innovation: Africa’s operations in Limpopo, supporting other regions where necessary
• Create monthly budgets and set goals for the month along with Innovation: Africa’s international team
• Manage team and project progress, community mobilization and technical implementation of Innovation: Africa’s projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with local government and local partner NGOs
• Manage or assist to manage and fully participate in visits from international team, donors and guests
• Respond to any communication such as email or WhatsApp within a timely manner (24-48 hours on email, 12 hours on WhatsApp)
• Work with all necessary ministries, government offices, embassies and any other official entities to complete the registration process

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences and/ any related qualification
• Five to seven years’ experience in project management and community development work
• Stakeholder engagement
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in sound public financial management
• Ability to delegate team activities effectively
• Commitment to Innovation Africa development aims and goals
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
• Ability to supervise contractors and team members
