Job Title: Half Day Academic Administrator

The role of the Half Day Academic Administrator will be to assist the Head of School, Senior Programme Manager and Programme Managers in the School of Financial Planning and Insurance with various administrative tasks.
•Assist programme managers and lecturers with general administrative matters.
•Keep a record of claims.
•Keep minutes of meetings.
•Manage filing and record keeping.
•Assist with the preparation for quality assurance verification visits.
•Assist with administrative tasks and the organization of part-time academic staff.
•Capture feedback from student surveys and communicate to stakeholders.
•Assist with the drafting of presentations.
•Set up and support live sessions with students.
Assist with programme management functions:
•Assist with the student admission process where necessary.
•Assist with the student registration process where necessary.
•Capture external student exemption decisions on the system and communicate to students.
•Assist with internal module exemptions where necessary.
•Assist with the implementation of the at risk management process on selected programmes.
•Assist with the management of various learnership programmes.
•Address student and client administrative queries.
•Ensure the student profiles are kept up to date with all contact intervention information and/or academic info.
•Deal with student/facilitator/part-time academics/client queries (email, telephonic and online system) as and when necessary.
•Build good relationships with internal departments, part-time academics, clients and students.
•Maintain professional relationships with all Milpark management and staff.
•Assist in administrative tasks, planning, organising and control in the delivery of special projects as determined by management
Education & Experience Requirements:
•Matric, Grade 12 or equivalent
•Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and MSTeams
•Certification in Administration (beneficial)
•Minimum two years’ administrative experience
