Siyashesha Leadership Incubator is a non-profit organisation and the managing entity of the Activate Change Drivers (ACD). The ACD Programme seeks to connect & equip young leaders already active and committed to the public good, with a toolkit for social change.

Job Title: Provoke Youth Hubs Sector Coordinator
Job Location: Durban
Remuneration: R11000.00 to R14000.00 pending experience
Purpose of the position is to coordinate the implementation of Provoke/Influence strategy for the calendar year in line with the organizational vision, mission and strategies.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with stakeholders and partners
Provoke sector coordinators
Interact with Activators in the Network
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) coordinator manager and relevant staff as required
Coordinate and Implement Provoke/Influence programs
Set-up 60 Youth hubs across SA
Resource Youth hubs with essentials such as ITC, equipment, Branding and skills
Ensure activities are happening within Youth Hubs across SA with Hackathons and workshops
Assist activators with implementing Hackathons within youth hubs
Support activators by linking them to stakeholders to strengthen their hubs
Develop and/or maintain partnerships to support and build capacity and opportunities for Youth Hubs
Contribute to ACTIVATE! Change Drivers ( training) programme as agreed and as required
Delivery of Equipment to various stations across SA (Courier services)
Support organizational events including admin and logistical needs as required
Working closely with Provoke Manager to
Support and strengthen Activator initiatives at A! Stations
Must have a valid driver’s license
Set-up 60 youth hubs across SA
Maximize the utilization of the available systems and face to face platforms to provide better value to Activators
Connect, strengthen Activator network bonds to grow their capacity to engage more effectively and amplify their impact.
Support the CIPI and Comm’s team
Plan and set a calendar of activities for the year
Monitor and support A! Help Desk with sector-related queries
Monitor and support and implement Event coordinator strategy and events
Monitor and support implement CIPI projects
Maintain weekly meetings with relevant staff.
Operate within budget parameters
Holding the Active citizenry sector (X1 Imbizo on Arts and Culture)
Apply strategies to strengthened bonds and connection within the Activate network
Promote and monitor Activator attendance at Activator Org and Activator network events
Liaise with Comms. portfolio to promote and/or profile Activators’ initiatives with a particular emphasis on shared actions e.g. in the 5 sectors
Profile Activators shared initiatives through NWC social media platforms includingWhatsApp, NWC Facebook pages etc.
Provide infographics of events
Promote access to and utilization of IT platforms (ACTIVATE! App, USSD & WEB
Features including Geomap, Calendar and Connection Hives etc.)
Update info on SALES FORE
Contribute to connecting Activators through printed media especially newspapers,
Adhere to budget and financial administration and approvals systems
Monitoring & evaluation and ensure quality control measures are adhered to
Work with the M&E Coordinator to ensure that relevant monitoring is done for all aspects of the Nodal Coordination team
Systems & Data management
Contribute to the updating of Activator information on tracking systems as required
Maintain and upload attendance records at Activator events on Salesforce
Liaise with Salesforce team to create a salesforce tracking system for the 60 stations across SA
Reporting
Collate reports on Activator activities within Youth Hubs
Produce Monthly infographics on the usage of Youth Hubs across the 60 Youth Hubs
Submit info to assist with the formulation quarterly Boards and DGMT reports
