Vacancy Details

A prominent company in the cryptocurrency industry is in search of a talented LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR to join their team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, improve and maintain clusters of blockchain daemons/consensus nodes in a scalable and highly redundant way. A mix of containerized and virtualized environments.
• LINUX administration – DEBIAN Based.
• WINDOWS Administration.
• Network Administration – SDWAN, VLAN, LAN, FIREWALL.
• CRM, HELPDESK and MAIL administration.
• Implement robust monitoring tools to control the stability blockchain infrastructure using Grafana and Prometheus.

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Proficiency in management and maintenance of self-hosted infrastructure.
• Experience with running Docker containers.
• Strong passion for cryptocurrencies and the technology that underpins it.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Advanced understanding of security principles and practices.
• Previous experience in interacting with blockchain nodes (i.e., Bitcoin, Ethereum) is an added advantage.
• Scripting Abilities – BASH.
• LINUX experience.
