Sustainable Coffee Bay (SCB) is a nonprofit organisation whose mission is to increase access to, and quality of education, skills and employment. Sustainable Coffee Bay manages and facilitates projects in three focus areas, Early Childhood Development, Education and Youth Development and Rural Assistance.
Job Title: Projects Manager
Job Location: Coffee Bay, Eastern Cape
Salary: Depending on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple community projects, hands on
- Prepare and complete action plans
- Provide accurate monthly financial reporting
- Provide accurate monthly narrative
- Maintain donor liaison
- Staff management, training and development
- Network and negotiate partnerships with stakeholders for the benefit of the projects
- Fundraise to sustain NPO
- Management of beneficiaries
- Carry the responsibility of multiple jobs
- Ensure that a good relationship is kept with local community members
Requirements:
- Strong English writing skills and communication (funding applications, blog posts, emails and social media)
- Some financial, accounting and budgeting experience
- Strong organisational skills and be able to multi-task
- Outgoing and emphathetic personality and passionate about community work
- Time management and planning skills
- Management experience
- Valid drivers’ license preferable
- Strong leadership skills and proactive
- Dedicated and grounded person
- Must be able to work independently
